Information
SIMMTRACK is a system of highly sensitive magnetic or strain sensors, mechanically fixed or welded to the rail web, designed to detect the passage of each axle of the train with absolute precision.
Main Features
Precise Axle Counting: Identifies the passage of each wheel, allowing for accurate counting of wagons and the total composition of the train without errors.
Rail Web Installation: Its strategic position protects the sensor from direct impacts and allows for a clean reading of the stresses and magnetic fields generated by the wheel.
Direction and Speed Detection: In addition to counting, the system identifies the direction of movement and the instantaneous speed of the train.
Native Integration: It provides the basic data (trigger) so that other systems, such as MASSA's own dynamic scale, know exactly which wagon is being weighed at that moment.
High Availability: Because it is fixed to the rail structure, it has high resistance to weather and extreme vibrations, requiring low maintenance.
