The device comprises a siliconized, ground Stainless Steel needles with ultra-thin, ultra-sharp and triple facet bevel to ensure smooth, atraumatic and painless venipuncture, and to improve patient’s comfort and reduce the occurrence of phlebitis.
the safety cannulas have been manufactured using thin-wall needle technology, which increases the amount of blood travelling up the cannula, as well as the rate at which it travels up the needle, during venipuncture. This significantly reduced the flashback time and thus venipuncture confirmation.
The device is made of best-in-class, kink resistant catheters with extremely smooth inner and outer surface facilitate atraumatic venipuncture.
IV catheter material available in PUR and FEP/PTFE – PUR for a softer and more comfortable indwelling performance, FEP/PTFE as alternative firmer material.
Catheters with radiopaque line facilitate the visualization under X-ray imaging system.
