Plusflon Safe® is a safety I.V. catheter with injection port and wings, designed with a passive full automatic safety system that completely covers the needle tip after use, helping protect healthcare workers against needle-stick injuries and related infections. The click sound confirms that the safety system is properly activated and cannot be bypassed. Key Features: Passive full automatic safety system that cannot be bypassed. Self-activation tip cover technology for protection against needle-stick injuries. Injection port and wings for greater convenience and stability during use. Universal triple-beveled back-cut needle, offering lower resistance during insertion and resulting in minimal trauma. Catheter tip designed to provide a smooth cannulation experience. Radiopaque stripes for easy detection of catheter presence under X-ray. Quick flashback to confirm successful cannulation. Universal 6% taper for compatibility with standard medical devices. DEHP and latex free. Technical Details: Catheter material: FEP/PUR. Available with 3, 4, or 6 radiopaque stripes. Packing: 100 units per inner carton and 1,000 units per outer carton. Available Sizes: 14G, 16G, 18G, 20G, 22G, and 24G. Patient Population: All age groups. 22G–24G for children, 14G–20G for adults.
