Latex foley catheter
Consumables and Orthopedics
Information
The latex urinary catheter, a core basic product in urology, is made from imported medical-grade latex from Malaysia, possessing both natural softness and reliable biocompatibility, making it an ideal choice for short-term indwelling catheterization. The product offers multi-dimensional coating options, including silicone coating, hydrophilic coating, antibacterial coating, and PTFE coating, allowing for adaptation to different patients based on clinical needs. The antibacterial coating effectively inhibits bacterial adhesion, while the hydrophilic coating significantly reduces urethral friction during insertion, minimizing the risk of mucosal damage.
The product adheres to the international standard color coding system, with different sizes easily distinguished by distinct colors. It features two valve designs: soft rubber and hard plastic, meeting the needs of clinical convenience. The balloon volume is precisely matched to the catheter size, ranging from 3ml to 50ml, ensuring stable fixation while avoiding bladder mucosal compression damage. The catheter length is available in three specifications: pediatric (270mm), standard (400mm), and female (240mm), adapting to the different physiological structures of children, adult males, and females. All products are sterilized with ethylene oxide, with a sterile shelf life of up to 3 years, ensuring safe use.
In terms of clinical applications, the product is recommended for a maximum indwelling time of 7 days, particularly suitable for short-term catheterization within 24 hours after surgery, rapid establishment of urinary drainage in emergency situations, and temporary urinary management for patients without a history of latex allergy. With its high cost-effectiveness and mature manufacturing process, it has become a mainstream choice for bulk procurement by domestic medical institutions.
