Arterial Catheter
Consumables and Orthopedics

Information
An Arterial Catheter (also called an arterial line or intra-arterial catheter) is a thin, sterile medical device designed for percutaneous insertion into a peripheral or central artery. It provides direct vascular access for hemodynamic monitoring, continuous blood pressure measurement, and repeated blood sampling without repeated needle punctures.
Widely used in operating rooms, intensive care units (ICUs), cardiac care units, and emergency departments. Placement and management are performed by qualified anesthesiologists, intensivists, or trained clinicians under strict aseptic technique.
