It also includes an instillation mode for effective wound cleansing and removal of infectious fluids and debris. Efficient, quiet, and powerful, works for a wide range of wound sizes, eliminating the need for multiple devices. It offers continuous, intermittent, and instillation modes, individually adjustable pressure settings, excellent fluid removal performance, and a lightweight, portable design with disposable canisters and a convenient carrying bag. Indications: traumatic wounds, dehisced wounds, acute wounds, second degree burns, flaps and grafts, and chronic wounds including pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and venous leg ulcers. Contraindications: necrotic tissue, anastomotic sites, malignancy except palliative use, untreated osteomyelitis, exposed organs, vessels or nerves, and unexplored or non enteric fistulas. Precautions: patients on anticoagulants, active bleeding, proximity to vital structures, irradiated tissues, and bone fragments. Negative pressure helps maintain a moist wound environment, removes excess exudate, reduces tissue edema, and promotes faster healing.
