DISKOM™ offers a minimally invasive solution to relieve nerve pressure caused by hernia through a percutaneous procedure. It consists of an access needle with distal and side openings and a titanium cochlear tip for mechanical removal of the nucleus pulposus. Its tightly connected cochlea ensures safety, reducing the risk of detachment—a unique advantage of this system. Unlike other methods, DISKOM™ avoids the use of radiofrequency or laser, and its wide side opening allows for the removal of up to 2cc of disc material using the principle of an Archimedes’ screw, which excels in handling fluid or granular material
