SXM is an autonomous spectrum intelligence platform, replacing periodic, on-site spectrum surveys with continuous, real-time visibility into wireless environments from anywhere.
SXM runs on a distributed network of sensors, or nodes, deployed as fixed, outdoor-rated units or portable, mobile-survey units. Operating 24/7 & autonomously, nodes scan the spectrum from 9 kHz to 8 GHz (up to 27 GHz optional) & stream data to the SXM Cloud. There, AI & ML-driven analytics decode 2G, 3G, 4G, & 5G network parameters, detect interference & unauthorized transmissions, & correlate signals across nodes to surface insights via the SXM Dashboard, a browser-based interface.
SXM addresses a range of spectrum monitoring needs, including:
3GPP network analytics & deployment characterization across 2G, 3G, 4G, & 5G
Interference detection & management, including cellular-to-cellular & cellular-to-non-cellular conflicts (e.g., satellite downlinks, radar, aviation systems)
Channel occupancy analysis
Detection of rogue or fake base stations & unauthorized transmissions
National spectrum compliance & license verification
Spectrum Viewer, an application within the SXM Dashboard that turns SXM nodes into remotely accessible spectrum analyzers, giving users live spectrum visibility from anywhere
Automated notifications & alerting on spectrum changes or anomalies
Replacing periodic drive testing & crowdsourced data collection
SXM serves two core markets. In the first, national regulators, mobile network operators, & private network operators use SXM to monitor compliance, manage interference, & optimize network performance. In the second, aerospace, defense, government, & security organizations rely on SXM for continuous spectrum awareness, threat detection, & mission-critical intelligence. Across both, SXM replaces fragmented, periodic monitoring with one autonomous platform, helping organizations see, understand, & act on their wireless environments.
