RTSA units are compact, software-defined real-time spectrum analyzers, delivering lab-grade performance in a fraction of the size, weight, & power of traditional spectrum analyzers.
Built on a software-defined radio architecture with real-time digitization & signal processing, the RTSA family scans the spectrum from 9 kHz up to 27 GHz, with real-time bandwidth up to 100 MHz (160 MHz optional) & sweep rates up to 65 GHz/s. Deep dynamic range of up to 100 dB & onboard real-time memory of up to 64 million samples support hardware-based triggering for fast, packet-based signal capture. Select models add integrated GNSS for location & time-stamped data, Wi-Fi 6E readiness, & a footprint as compact as 184 x 165 x 60 mm & 2.2 kg. Each unit ships with Spectraware, thinkRF's real-time spectrum analysis software, for direct visualization, demodulation, & signal analysis.
RTSA units support a range of applications, including:
Channel power & occupied bandwidth measurements for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, & cellular (3G/4G/5G/LTE) signals
Interference hunting & spectrum monitoring, standalone or as part of a distributed sensor network
Drive testing & wireless network characterization
AM/FM demodulation & detailed signal analysis, including IQ constellation, frequency domain, & time domain views
Test & measurement applications such as third-order intercept (IP3) & dynamic range testing
Signals intelligence & RF scanning across in-building or wide-area environments
RTSA units serve test & measurement engineers, wireless researchers, system integrators, regulators, network operators, & defense & security organizations that need portable, distributed, or standalone spectrum analysis, whether in the lab, in the field, or deployed across a wide geographic area.
