Lock-out device for NX series interlocks

Pizzato is expanding its range of industrial safety solutions with the launch of the new LK X series lock-out device, specially designed for integration with NX series interlocks with lock. This accessory increases protection for operators working inside restricted hazardous areas, preventing unexpected restarts of machinery during maintenance or other operations. The LK X lock-out device features a full-metal construction, guaranteeing lasting resistance and durability even in particularly harsh industrial environments. The lock-out device is designed to be installed directly on the optional support bracket available for the NX series, ensuring seamless integration with existing safety systems. Activation of the lock-out device is immediate and intuitive. The user simply slides the red flap upwards until it completely covers the three entry points on the NX series interlock, thus preventing insertion of the actuator pin. The LK X device also enables multiple operators to work safely at the same time: the lock-out has a slot for attachment of up to four padlocks. In this scenario, each operator attaches their own personal padlock to the slot on the device before entering the hazardous area. The system ensures that the lock-out device can only be deactivated after removal of all padlocks, guaranteeing the exit of all operators from the hazardous area prior to restarting the machinery. The LK X series is ideal for all industrial environments requiring strict LOTO procedures where multiple operators have to access protected areas simultaneously or in sequence.
