RFID safety switches with lock | NS series

Designed to be installed on machinery where risks remain even after shutdown, the NS series safety switches offer a reliable solution for standard to medium-duty applications. Thanks to their durable technopolymer housing, they combine robustness and adaptability and are suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. Designed with redundant electronics, these devices allow to implement safety circuits reaching the maximum safety levels PLe and SIL3 through the use of a single device on a guard, thus avoiding expensive wiring and ensuring faster installation. The maximum PLe and SIL3 safety levels are guaranteed even when connecting up to 32 sensors in series. The NS series is equipped with an electronic system based on RFID technology to detect the actuator. This allows to provide each actuator with different coding and makes it impossible to tamper with a device by using another actuator of the same series. The upper and the lower modules of the switch can be rotated in 90° steps, thus obtaining various configurations with the same device. Besides, the wide centring inlet for the actuator pin makes it easier to align the actuator with the hole on the head of the switch during installation. Available also in the version with long housing, NS series safety switches can be equipped with 1 to 4 control devices of different types and colors such as selectors, buttons or e-stop mushrooms.
